Kristian Bogner is a world-class professional photographer, Nikon ambassador and speaker. His credo is about ultimate positivity, passion, and taking his technical expertise in photography to the extreme. A multi-award winner, Kristian has earned the Professional Photographers of Canada Association's prestigious Commercial Photographer of the Year for Canada award an unprecedented number of consecutive years. He was recently named the P.P.O.C.'s 2011 and 2012 Alberta Photographer of the Year, receiving this award for the fourth time. He has also won numerous other international awards for his work, which takes him all over the planet.
Kristian's recent photographic expeditions have been to Dali, China and Ladakh, India, capturing amazing images of tribals, monks, nomads, mountainscapes, palaces, ancient cultures, and more. Kristian's work and abilities take him from shooting the Olypmics and extreme sports to fashion, to high-end architecture and aircrafts to landscape photography and any other exciting commercial photography work that comes his way.
Christine is a photographer and filmmaker with a passion for visual arts, drama, and the weird and wonderful. A graduate of Sheridan College, she began her career working on music video sets. As a photographer, she has documented a number of talented artists and celebrities including Twilight Director Catherine Hardwicke and actors Laura Vandervoort, Corey Sevier, and John Bregar. She is actively working on several new short film projects as Director and Cinematographer.
Rob is a Toronto-based, nationally accredited photographer whose work has been featured in various magazines and newspaper publications, and includes the world-renowned Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. He has been an instructor at the School of Imaging for over 7 years, and has the ability to deliver even the most complicated material in an understandable, straightforward and friendly manner.
For close to 25 years, Dave Cross has been helping photographers and creative professionals get the most out of their software. Starting with Adobe Illustrator classes in 1987, Dave has taught Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to thousands of users around the world. He has a Bachelor of Education, is an Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop CS5 and is a Certified Technical Trainer. Dave has taught at Photoshop World (20 times), written numerous articles and several books, co-hosts Photoshop User TV and has appeared in many DVDs and online courses for Kelby Training. Dave is the Lead Instructor for the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, and runs his own studio/workshop space in Tampa, FL.
Over the last 12 years, Dave has taught Photoshop in every state in the United States, throughout Canada and in Europe, consistently earning rave reviews. Dave is well-known for his engaging style, his humor and his ability to make complex topics easy to understand. In 2009 Dave was inducted into the Photoshop Hall of Fame.
A passionate photography and outdoors hobbyist, Peter Dering quit his engineering job back in 2010 to pursue a newer, better way to carry his DSLR camera during his outdoor activity and travel. He founded the company Peak Design and decided to launch his invention - the Capture Camera Clip - on the fledgling funding website Kickstarter.com. Within a week the project had raised $100K, and after 60 days Capture became the 2nd most successful project in Kickstarter's history. Now, Peak Design (Booth 34) has 8 team members and a host of innovative products for active photographers. Peter and his team are based in San Francisco.
Chris is a photojournalist with 15 years of experience in the digital space. Most recently, he directed production on Fast Company's web video series, Work Flow, and developed a branded content series for Ford and The Globe & Mail. Chris also teaches Photojournalism and Online News Production in both the undergraduate and post-graduate programs at Sheridan College in Oakville, ON. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies in Singapore as a still photographer. As a photojournalist for Toronto's top-rated news channel, his assignments have included documenting the water crisis in Native communities in the Arctic, following the lives of a fire brigade in Jamaica, and being embedded with the military during relief operations in the disputed region of Kashmir after the 2005 earthquake.
In his capacity as a producer, Chris has worked for Webnation, which is a current affairs program about internet culture and directed popular video podcast commandN.tv. He has also produced live coverage for multiple provincial and federal elections.
Chris has taught journalism to at-risk youth in Florida at the Palm Beach Photographic Workshops, and is an active member of the National Press Photographers Association and the Committee to Protect Journalists.
Along with a heavy helping of awards and accolades, Dixie brings a fresh vision to fashion photography. "I love images with soul... images that not only highlight the models and fashion, but also elicit a spontaneous emotional response. The connection is what drives my work... the connection between my subject, me the photographer, and ultimately the viewer that makes the difference. Darren has been a professional Real Estate Photographer for over 25 years and enjoys sharing his photographic knowledge with aspiring shutterbugs. He is an active member of the Richmond Hill Camera Club and has worked in a variety of roles in community television. His experience and ability to explain things in an easy to understand format have made him one of the top instructors at the School of Imaging.
Camila's passion for photography started after taking courses at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, leading her to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at York University with recognition on the Dean's Honour Roll. Running her own wedding and portrait photography business, teaching private lessons, and now leading the School of Imaging at Henry's, Camila has collected a vast array of skills and knowledge directly connected with photography and education. Her personality and positive attitude make her a pleasure to watch, and she will be sure to deliver a fun and engaging presentation.
Lorenzo Gasperini is a passionate, innovative seasoned photographer/photo marketing guru who has spent over 25 years conducting international seminars, lectures and workshops on photography.
As the president of Inovanti, LLC (international sales & marketing consulting) he assists major photographic brands such as PocketWizard and Sekonic with developing and marketing new tools for professional photographers. A member of the PPA of America for over 25 years, he also operates the photographic division of Inovanti, where his clients range from wedding/portrait to commercial customers.
Joining perspectives of both the photo industry and photographer, gives Lorenzo a unique advantage and realistic understanding of current techniques and technology in the photographic industry.
Lucas Gilman grew up in the mountains of Western Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Journalism. A love of adventure and a keen curiosity creates his distinct style of photography. Traveling the world in search of untouched places and wild experiences, Lucas captures images ranging from kayaking in India, Brazil, Uganda and Costa Rica to backcountry skiing in Colorado, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Alaska, and South America.
A winner of numerous prestigious awards, Lucas, regularly works with editorial clients that span the globe including: National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine, ESPN.com, Men's Journal, National Geographic Adventure, Outside Magazine, Men's Fitness, Maxim Germany, FHM Australia, USA TODAY and the New York Times. Bob is a headshot, editorial, and commercial photographer based in CT.
While maintaining an regular shooting schedule, he specializes in off-camera flash and running O.C.F. workshops across the country. Working closely with Expoimaging, and California Sunbounce, his work takes him on the road most of the year running events and presentations.
Bob is the author of "Photographic Lighting" due out in the Spring of 2013 and is a contributor to Shutterbug Magazine. His work has appeared in small and large magazines, from local glossy "Milford Living" to "Newsweek".

Originally from Puerto Rico, at the age of 13 Hector Martinez began his photographic career by taking photos of the homeless in New York City, where he lived with his grandparents.
After receiving a degree in fine arts, he began working at NBC, where he produced features and documentaries for the Today Show. From Cuba to Peru via the United States, his passion for photography has taken him to many countries.
Using his work as a teaching tool, Hector Martinez composes his images with great care and accuracy. Courting his subjects, the photographer prefers to talk with them before shooting their pictures. Raw yet sophisticated, his photo portraits convey the immense respect he has for his subjects. Hector Martinez currently lives in New York City.

Yannick Michaud is a commercial photographer, Olympus Technical Representative, Olympus Sales Executive and all round good guy! His passion for photography is evident in the lively and entertaining manner he discusses the art form with both the public and fellow photographers.
After ten years in Denmark, slightly homesick and missing the Canadian nature, Yannick moved back to Canada in 2003 for Olympus America. He has since given countless of classes on Digital Photography and Photoshop throughout North America and thoroughly enjoys educating people on various themes in this fascinating milieu. He enjoys doing portrait and commercial work in studio and loves creating panoramas when travelling throughout the country.
Kirk has a passion for visual storytelling, plain and simple. Using all the latest creative tools available he has made a name for himself as one of Canada's premiere cinematographers having won 3 Canadian Society of Cinematography awards and 7 RTDNA awards. He is the only person in Canada to win the Best Creative Use of Video (Network) Award from the RTDNA 3 years in a row. He has also brought home a Gemini award and all in the last 6 years.
Kirk has worked in news shops from coast to coast and for every major commercial news outlet in Canada and has recently pioneered new shooting techniques with Nikon HD-SLR's for Global Television's investigative news program, "16x9".
Glen has a photography career that has spanned almost 35 years. An accomplished wedding, portrait and commercial photographer, he's been immersed in the wholesale and retail side of the industry in various management positions, and has a strong background in public speaking.
Greg Rist has been part of the Toronto television industry for 3 decades. He has produced award winning programs and segments that aired on CTV, CBC, CITYTV, TVO, PBS and Rogers. As a documentarian he is an accomplished video journalist using his camera to capture thousands of stories. Subjects range from nude camping to exploring the heart of a nuclear reactor.
First, honing his skills as a street wise camera operator at the world famous CITYTV he then moved on to becoming a well known Toronto reporter. Building on the basics of strong story telling and a keen eye, Greg produced shows and segments that have aired internationally. Greg's most recent 13 part series took him around North America and Europe exploring the world of wine and fine food, in "Adventures in Wine Country".
